This scale is used to record an environmental coping style. It is assumed that people with a cognitive-avoidable coping style show a strongly limited motivation to act in an environmentally friendly manner. In contrast, people with a vigilant coping style are more likely to behave in an environmentally friendly manner. The scale contains four situation vignettes, each with eight possible answers.
