AB - The presented scale assesses the degree to which a person’s mobile phone usage can be consid-ered dependent. The questionnaire is based on the Test of Mobile Phone Dependence brief (TMD-brief) developed by Chóliz et al. (2016). The German version (TMD Brief-G) consists of 11 items and is interpreted using a sum score or the four subscales (loss of control, tolerance, abstinence, inter-ference). The TMD Brief-G has good reliability (Cronbach’s alpha = .87) and objectivity.
