AB - This article presents the German short version of the General Procrastination Scale (GPS-K). The GPS-K is a one-dimensional self-assessment tool which records the tendency to dysfunctional postponement of activities to be completed, i.e. the postponement against better knowledge. The scale comprises nine items that can be used in written surveys in paper-pencil and online format. It can be used in both basic and applied research, but is not suitable for individual diagnostics. The reliability and validity of the GPS-K was tested in a total of three studies.
