AB - The epidemic-related Dark Future Scale for Children %28eDFS-K%29 is based on the Dark Future Scale by Zaleski %281996%29. It assesses children%27s fears about the future in specific relation to an epidemic %28or pandemic%29 and the associated changes and constraints in society. In the present work%2C the scale was related to the corona pandemic in the years 2020%2F2021. The likert-scaled questionnaire includes four items and is designed for children between the ages of eight and twelve. The scale was first adminis-tered to N %3D 140 third- and fourth-grade students at several elementary schools in Lower Saxony%2C Germany in the context of the Atempause intervention study.
