AB - The FIRE-CU is a feedback instrument for the training of rescue forces command staff members. It assesses the quality of the training of the fire brigade command staff. The instrument is based on the FIRE (Schulte & Thielsch, 2019), an instrument for evaluating the training of fire brigade group and platoon leaders. Its content has been adapted to the training of members of the fire department's leadership team. The instrument comprises 22 items and measures behaviour, requirement level, structure and group on the level of learning processes as well as the factors acquisition of competence and transfer on the level of learning outcomes. A confirmatory factor analysis could confirm this structure. The scales show a good internal consistency and there is evidence for convergent, discriminant validity and criterion validity.
