AB - The article presents a%0Ameasuring instrument for the multidimensional recording of the perception of%0Astudy requirements. The instrument was developed on the basis of two%0Aqualitative preliminary studies that examine challenges in the initial study%0Aphase %28Bosse %26amp%3B Trautwein%2C 2014%3B Trautwein %26amp%3B Bosse%2C 2017%29. The test%0Aanalyses were carried out with a total sample of N %3D 1907 students from various%0ABachelor%27s degree programmes at four universities. The final version of the%0Ameasuring instrument comprises 21 items. The explorative factor analysis shows%0Aa six factor structure%2C which was confirmed by a confirmatory factor analysis.%0AOverall%2C the subscales show a moderate to satisfactory measurement accuracy.%0ASignificant correlations with study success criteria provide indications of%0Acriterion validity of the developed measuring instrument.
