Licensing

Your publication in ZIS is licensed under a CC-BY license. The CC-BY licenses grant rights of use to the users of your work (the measurement instrument and its documentation), but do not replace copyright. This remains with the copyright holder.

The following four licenses can be selected: CC BY 4.0, CC BY-SA 4.0, CC BY-NC 4.0 und CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. A separate user agreement is available for each license type, which you can enter into a contract with GESIS:

• User agreement CC BY 4.0
• User agreement CC BY-SA 4.0
• User agreement CC BY-NC 4.0
• User agreement CC BY-NC-SA 4.0

In accordance with the objective of ZIS, to provide measurement instruments for non-commercial research, we recommend to choose the following licenses: CC BY-NC 4.0 or CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
